Born and raised in the village of Chu Chua. AKA Bonnie enjoys the culinary arts, beading, pine needle basket
making and crocheting. Her bannock is considered one of the best tasting in the village.
Her sister, Pat, taught her the craft of pine needle baskets and continues to be innovated with the
designs of each unique creations. Not one basket is the same. She is also very creative with her
beadwork. Some of her work she donates for raffles, door prizes, which are much appreciated.
She enjoys crafting with the ladies group. Along with the other basket makers, her concern is for the
availability of pine needles for this craft, could it be another loss art?
